About the Organisation

Renovating for Profit is a relatively new but rapidly expanding company that commenced operation in May 2009. Its core focus is to provide educational training on how to successfully buy, renovate and sell residential property for a profit.

Renovating for Profit has quickly gained a reputation for being the leading educator in Australia for property renovation. The company is headed by its two directors, Cherie Barber and Stephen Tolle who are widely acclaimed as Australia's No. 1 top renovation couple and widely featured in Australian wide media. Together, they are highly sought after educators on the Australian professional public speaking circuit.

Renovating for Profit holds a series of 3 Day Renovation Riches Workshops in all states of Australia each year. Workshops extensively teach people, in detail, how to buy property, professionally renovate and sell property in order to generate a profit for the individual concerned. Students attend a workshop and typically go on to set up their own successful property businesses.

The role requires a team member who can handle an organisational environment that is fast paced, ever changing and one which reacts quickly to opportunities that arise. All of RFP's staff are passionate, well presented, action orientated people with can-do attitudes.

Renovating for Profit is looking for an individual with a proactive, professional attitude towards their work. You are confident, can work in a close knit team and are someone who is not defined by their job description. To this end, you're happy to represent the organisation at any level when and as the business requires.

It will also be a condition of employment that all of RFP's staff are able to work six weekends of the year (with time off in lieu) to assist in the running of Renovating for Profit's national Renovation Riches Workshops. Some interstate travel will therefore be required.

Renovating for Profit values people who have opinions, wish to be heard and who will take complete ownership of their roles and treat the business like their own.

This role will work closely with Cherie Barber, director of Renovating for Profit. Experience in the areas of real estate/renovation or property development would be highly advantageous but not necessary.
